Projects, Family Reunion, and good times!

So this last month has been pretty busy here are some pics of things we have been doing. Alyssa in her cute pj's clapping something she has figured out and loves to do.

Shar, Kyle and Landon came to visit the beginning of November and I am really bad at remembering to take pics so this is the only one we got as they were walking out the door to leave. But it is a good one. We enjoyed having them visit and we had a good time just vegging out.
Mommy and Alyssa watchin T.V. one of the few times she is still and lets you hold her.

Girls night out we did these projets and had a good time.
Calender that you can change the background for holiday/month. (Magnetic board)

Magnets I made to go on the calendar

I made these ornaments to hang on our christmas tree this year since it could use a little more decoration. It says "Snowmen melt my heart" has melted snowman inside.

Cute plate with saying. Way easy to make.

This is our shelf we bought recently and the decorations I have made or just the Give Thanks is what I made.

We hated our guest bathroom with the sliding glass doors on the tub for the shower so we took them down and put up this shower curtain and new decorations. The colors are yellow and turqouise. We love it and it makes it more cheery.

This is all the kids at our family reunion we had a couple of weeks ago doing cute little projects to keep them busy they painted christmas ornaments and made a little foam wreaths with each kids picture in the middle.

Mommy and alyssa at family reunion, she just had woken up so we couldn't get her to smile.

The adults played this game where you had to put these dress ups on and run to the other side of the gym and pass them off to the next person. It was hilarious watching all the "older folk" do this. Quite entertaining to say the least.

Cute nephew Rhett painting his decorations.

The kids kept entertained with all the games and projects this is them doing the cake walk.

This is a video of the family playing elimination. It was lots of fun had by all being together as a family and catching up and seeing people you only see once a year.

This last weekend as a family we decided to go to thanksgiving point and see all the halloween stuff. It was pretty fun we saw some pigs race, and lots of halloween pumpkins. Alyssa had fun with mommy jumping on a giant pillow and we had some fun treats around a camp fire! Here are some pics of our adventure

Alyssa loves to go swimming and ride in her blow up turtle.

Observation Point

Two weeks ago I took a quick girls trip to St. George to go hiking with some friends. It was my first time leaving her and it was sad but I had lots of fun to. I drove down Friday afternoon and went to a party with Jane and her husband Ted ( I used to work with her) for a friend of theirs who had gotten a promotion at work. It was lots of fun and loads of good food. We got up early on Saturday and met the gang of about 15 of us girls and headed off to Zions. We started our hike about 10:00 hiking Observation Point which is 8 miles round trip. We had a little snack at the top and headed back down and afterwards we went to a little cafe called Oscars that is on your way out of Zions. It is our little spot we go to every time we hike very good and HIGHLY recommended. We were exhausted when we got back and just relaxed and chatted. I had to get up early Sunday morning to make it back to church by 12:30 so I didn't get to stay long. I loved every minute of it and thank Jane and Ted for letting me stay with them. There two boys are the greatest. Wish I could have spent more time with them. Next time I will have to spend more time and bring Alyssa with me since they love her to death! Thanks to all who made this trip a blast!

This is everyone who made it to the top!!

Top of Utah 1/2 Marathon

On Friday Sarah and Camron came up from St. George and we headed up to Logan. We got all loaded up on our carbs at yummy Olive Garden and then headed to Tremonton to spend the night with my sister Kimberly and her family which thanks so much for letting up stay with you. We got up at the crack of dawn or maybe even before that and headed to Logan for the race which started at 7 a.m. Well all finished in one piece with no major injuries. It was a challenge but very motivating. Here are some pics of us all after the race.

Me, Heather and Sarah Sarah, Shelly, Kimberly, Me, LaTesa, Tiffany

After the race we went back to Kimberly's house to get all cleaned up and to rest and relax. We had some dinner and just hung out. Here is Alyssa giggling as my sister plays with her.

All in all it was a good trip and fun to see everyone. Hope we can get together more often not just races. Thanks for everyones motivation and encouragement.

Alyssa first camping trip!

This weekend was very fun! We went up to Big Cottonwood Canyon and went camping with our new ward. We were a little nervous about Alyssa being her first time camping and that it could get a little cold up in the mountains. But everything was fine and we all had a very fun time playing cards with people in our ward and sitting around the campfire enjoying the views!

Here are some pictures of the campout! Alyssa is such a happy baby and we love waking up and looking over her crib and seeing her smiling face in the morning!

A trip to Saint George

So last week Lance's parents were down in Saint George and we went to visit them and friends! It was a lot of fun! Here is a picture of Alyssa with her grandparents and her cousin Landon!

A night in Park City!

So for date night this week I decided to take Lance and Alyssa to Park City. It was a lot of fun we went on a ride called the alpine slide. Afterwards we went to the chocolate factory and shared a giant spicy pork burrito from a fun place called the Baja Cantina! Oh and did I mention in August it was fifty degrees up there! We froze our booties off! Here are a few fun pictures of on the slide at park city!

temple square

So we decided we both have not been to temple square in a long time and decided to make a fun night of it. Alyssa loved all the people and flowers everywhere, it was a lot of fun!

Time Flies......6 months old!

I can't believe it! Alyssa is already six months old. It is crazy how fast time flies. We have loved every minute of it and can't wait for more exciting moments. Here are a few pictures of her at 6 months....

This video is of Alyssa rolling, she was more interested in her empty bottle she just finished than rolling but she is all over the place now. We gotta keep our eyes on her at all times. Thank goodness we don't have stairs.
